Boys & Girls Clubs offer free summer programming at 17 sites

Boys & Girls Clubs of Northeast Ohio will be offering free summer programming for youth ages 6-18 at 17 locations in six Northeast Ohio counties. Online registration for summer starts April 29.

Summer sessions at Clubs in Cuyahoga, Summit, Lorain, Erie, Huron and Ashtabula counties will start June 10 and end Aug. 16.  Tentative times will be 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. weekdays, although hours may vary according to location. Free transportation may be available to and from some Clubs.

You can register your child for summer starting April 29 at www.bgcneo.org.

There is no charge to join a Club.

Clubs are safe, fun places focusing on academic success, healthy lifestyles, character and leadership and life/workforce readiness. Summer programming will include activities, field trips and a free daily meal. The theme will be ‘Journey Through Summer’ and include activities like fishing, outdoor excursions, equestrian therapy, nutrition education, work experience and field days. Special all-organization weeks are titled Great Futures, Holidays in July and Olympian Challenge.

Activities, hours and start dates may vary by site.

BGCNEO traditionally operates fewer sites in the summer than during the school year. The list of Club locations for the 2025-2026 school year will be announced in August.
