Boys & Girls Clubs of Northeast Ohio announces school-year sites, registration
Boys & Girls Clubs of Northeast Ohio has announced it will provide free afterschool programming for youth ages 6-18 at 30 Clubs across the region during the 2025-2026 school year.
Clubs are safe, fun places for kids and teens to go after school, with a focus on academic success, health and wellness, character and leadership and life and workforce readiness. Members receive a free daily meal and help from caring adult mentors. There is no charge to join.
For more information and to register, click here. The fall program starts Sept. 2 for all Clubs except Sandusky’s Regional Center for Arts and Academic Studies, which will open Sept 8.
Clubs provide a benefit to communities and families. An Ohio University study showed Ohio communities receive $12.25 in economic and social benefits for every dollar invested in Boys & Girls Clubs. Parents can work longer with the knowledge that their children have a safe place to go after school.
BGCNEO was formed in 2019 by the merger of Clubs in Cleveland, Akron, Lorain County and Sandusky. The organization has since added sites in Huron and Ashtabula counties plus a sister Club in Scioto County.
