Bill Reynolds, a proven financial expert with a 25-year track record of working with organizations ranging from nonprofits to Fortune 500 companies to boost cash flow and profitability, has been named Chief Administrative Officer for Boys & Girls Clubs of Northeast Ohio.

Reynolds had been serving in a consulting role as Chief Financial Officer for BGCNEO, the organization formed in 2019 by the merger of Clubs in Cleveland, Akron, Lorain County and Erie County. In his new role, he will manage all finance and administrative functions in the organization.

BGCNEO President and CEO Jeff Scott said Reynolds is an exceptional leader.

“Bill brings a wealth of experience and trust to our Clubs,” Scott said. “He was instrumental in the success of the merger, and his management of finance and administrative items across the regions will give us tremendous economies of scale and leverage. In addition, Bill’s calm, assertive and optimistic nature quickly and effectively puts others at ease. He is a role model of positivity.”

Reynolds spent the early part of his career with Fortune 500 corporations like Eli Lilly and Sara Lee. He then shifted his focus to privately held companies like Eagle Family Foods, Longaberger, Inno-Pak, Newton Oil and Proteam Solutions, as well as nonprofits like Volunteers of America, Flying Horse Farms and Boys & Girls Clubs. He has expertise in a wide range of areas, including financial planning and reporting, risk management and employee benefits.

Reynolds earned a bachelor’s degree in chemistry from Baldwin Wallace College (now Baldwin Wallace University) and a master’s degree in business administration from Indiana University. He lives in the Columbus suburb of Gahanna, where his top pastimes are spending time with his family and in the great outdoors.

Boys & Girls Clubs provide safe, fun places for kids ages 6-18 after school with an emphasis on academic success, healthy lifestyles and character development. Prior to a temporary shutdown due to the coronavirus pandemic, BGCNEO was operating 39 locations in five counties. Nine Clubs were reopened on June 15.
